Artist's Description
The Emerald City as I imagine Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Lion and Tinman seeing it upon coming out of the forest and into the poppy fields. This is their first glimpse of that magical place with all the hopes and dreams within its walls. Little did they know that this would be but a brief respite on their journey. The Emerald City is part of my "Dorothy" Wizard of Oz series.
About Lisa Crisman
Welcome to my page! I'm a St.Louis artist and I love making vibrant and fun paintings. You'll find my pastel landscape paintings full of energy and luscious color. My whimsical Mixed Media art begins as a combination of collage & multiple layers of paint patterns. I then draw my main subject with ink, then paint either with acrylic paint or watercolor markers. I love using bold & bright colors with my art, and most of all, I want my art to be fun and HAPPY!
